Hi Folks:
I don't know that it will solve the issue in some people's minds as to
whether "rap" is music, but the Library of Congress and the Music Library
Association think so.
The Library of Congress subject heading for rap is: "Rap(Music)" and books
about rap music are classified in the "ML" classification section, which is
the music literature section.
