Yes, the Lishner recording is really beautiful.
It's sad that the Omega catalog is out of print.
I have a special interest in this issue, in that my "The Singing Waltz:
Klezmer Guitar and Mandolin" CD, plus Shura Lipovsky's "Moments of Jewish
Life,"
which I play on, were on the Omega Label.
When Seymour Solomon passed away, the label folded. There were rumors of a
sale, but last I noticed, the label has disappeared without a trace.
It would be great if someone wanted to re-release the catalog. Any ideas,
Simon (or anyone else?).
