Re: Romanian fiddler available September 27th?



I don't know what Jack had in mind when he posted this message, but perhaps
his request for non-Jews had to do with the fact that the gig is on *Rosh
Ha'shana*, one of the holiest days on the Jewish calendar. To facilitate the
violation of Torah law (working on Rosh Ha'shana) by another Jew is
generally, itself, a bad/prohibited thing.

Or maybe he just wanted to remind Jewish people on the list not to get
interested in the gig because they probably won't be able to take it.

To accuse people of racism is a serious matter. Please think long and hard
before you jump to conclusions like this.
