Fw: Klezmer article in this week's Forward



Yes, aren't the reeds dreadful?  Not the quality they were 30 years ago,
which dates me.  If you haven't read it already, Dave Pino has written a
great book with an excellent chapter on reeds and how to make your own,
titled:  "The Clarinet and Clarinet Playing".  You can age the cane when you
make your own and they aren't as warped at ready-made.
