I've been meaning to mention an album that a friend gave me recently
entitled, Chants Juifs pour violoncelle et piano featuring Sonia
Wieder-Atherton on cello and Daria Hovora on piano. They have an
interesting approach to interpreting and arranging several traditional
pieces. They also perform five works by Ernest Bloch.
A good collection and I recommend it.
