Dear List Members who live in New York and those who'd like to take a short
trip,

ALHAMBRA will be performing two programs of Sephardic songs and
instrumentals on Sunday afternoon March 23rd at TONIC: 107 Norfolk Street
between Delancy and Rivington in NYC.  ALHAMBRA was formed 21 years ago, so
this will be a "coming of age" birthday celebration.  Cost of admission is
$10.00 for the 1:30 show, $10.00 for the 3 o'clock show, or $15.00 for both
performances.

Members of the ensemble are: Elliot Levine, baritone; Isabelle Ganz,
director, mezzo, shawm, guitar; Haig Manoukian, oud,   percussion; Michael
Hess, violin, kanun, nay; and Peter Basil, percussion.
