Re: Flory Jagoda gets N'tl Heritage Fellowship

The NEA has just announced this year's recipients of National Heritage 
Fellowships, the country's highest honor in the folk and traditional arts.  
Flory Jagoda is one of the recipients!  She's identified on the NEA website as 
Sephardic musician/composer.    This is such an appropriate recognition!  [Side 
note off-topic: Jean Ritchie is included in the list of recipients - what took 
them so long?]
