One needs to distinguish Sinatra's records made in his prime from those made
after his voice failed. Even in his prime, he made sme mistakes, such as
the recording of the soliloquey from Carousel. No one is perfect.
I first heard Sinatra live at the NY Paramount, when I was in high school
and he was with Tommy Dorsey's band. He stood out from the crowd.
