I have a tune that has a theme that is kindasorta Jewish, is played by
Jewish bands, and is probably considered by most to be "Jewish music". Yet
to me there is nothing
at all Jewish about it. It is "Lena from Palestina"
My 2 shekels,
Dick

Something else to ponder on what is Jewish music. Check out this site for
a
MIDI version of that traditional Christian Favorite, Hava Nagila.
