By there were other Yiddish versions (Lyrics) to "Fiddler On The Roof" than 
the Israeli cast version.
When the show hit Broadway, many Yiddish singers wrote original Yiddish 
lyrics to the tunes.
Jan Bart had a HUGE hit with his Yiddish version of "Fiddler" (he performed 
all the songs,  it was not a cast album) on the Tikvah label...unfortunately 
that label is long out of business.
