SPRING SESSION OF KLEZMER WORKSHOPS AT THE WORKMEN'S CIRCLE/ARBETER RING
CONTINUES WITH FREE OPEN HOUSE MAY 8, 2001
NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 21, 2001 - Acclaimed klezmer musician, composer and
Yiddish singer Jeff Warschauer will be continuing his series of wildly
popular klezmer workshops at The Workmen's Circle, including a free "open
house" session on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:00 PM.
The course is geared towards intermediate and advanced level students who
wish to gain ensemble experience. In past
courses, instruments have included the violin, clarinet, guitar, flute,
mandolin, cymbalom, saxophone, trombone, accordion, drums and piano - all
instruments are a welcome addition.
The Klezmer Workshop with Jeff Warschauer will meet Tuesday evenings from
7:00-9:00pm, from May 8 through June 12, 2001, at The Workmen's
Circle/Arbeter Ring building at 45 East 33rd Street, between Park and Madison
Avenues. The cost for the five paid sessions is $125 for Workmen's Circle
