book "The Essential Klezmer", the author writes:

"All the performances are invested with a high degree of virtuosity and a
deeply-rooted yidishkayt. Vocalist Fraidy Katz, one of the finest Yiddish
singers alive, sounds like she could just have walked off a Second Avenue
stage."
