Hi Rachel, 

Yes, I have this CD.  There are some interesting instruments featured, 
including bagpipe (cimpoi), horn (bucium), and a new addition to my own 
plucked string arsenal, the kobza (a type of lute).  I'm not sure, but you 
may be referring to someone singing while playing the kobza— that's part of 
the tradition.
