Hello Jeff,

I am curious as to where you found and purchased the kobza. Were you able to
find one in the US, or are they only available in eastern Europe? I'd
appreciate any information you could provide regarding this instrument. I am
a fellow guitarist/mandolinist/bouzoukist, and have found the sound of the
kobza on various recordings quite captivating. I'm interested in finding one
and learning about playing them as well.

BTW, I enjoy your Singing Waltz CD.

Best wishes,

Seth

birds come out with similar laws for what they compose suggests to me that
there are a finite number of musical sounds that will entertain the
vertebrate brain."
