Hi Jerusha
My band, Balalaika, offers a dozen possible wedding processional pieces to
our clients to choose from. By far the most popular is Erev Shel Shoshanim.
Its a simple but deeply moving piece. I don't know of any recordings of it
however, but I'm sure there must be some. A more up-tempo recorded
processional which I love is the first tune in the first medley on Joel
Rubin's CD Beregovski's Khasene. It is listed as Freylekhs (Tsu der
Khupe). As regards budget restrictions not permitting live music, well hey,
we'd love to do it for a really reasonable fee, but if I'm not mistaken
there's the slight problem of the pond in between.
