I don't know any clarinetist who simply carries a single clarinet to the
gig... mostly it's something like two clarinets, and a bass clarinet, plus one
or two saxophones, and maybe even the bari sax case... ever turned the key to
your apartment with your nose, at five in the morning, after shlepping all
that stuff to the fifth floor (no elevator)???
