"Hot e' gezugt" is presumably "hot er gezugt," which simply means: "he
said." No doubt 99% of the meaning was in the tone of voice and the
look. If the connotation is: "that's what he SAID, but...", and you are
confined to words on paper (or in this case, in digital code), you could
get that meaning across more distinctly with "azoy hot er gezugt,"
(literally: "so he said"). But just the words, "hot er gezugt," without
the "shprakh-nign" (speech melody), all it means is "he said."
