Re: Klezkanada dance sessions

I've been looking at the program and I don't find any real workshops on
dance, only dancesessions with Michael and Zev on some evenings. I was there
last year, probably not the only one on the list though, so I can tell you
what happened then. After some concerts Michael and Zev taught dancing in an
informal way, i.e. you just follow what they do. We acted out a Khassene
once, and the musicians, staff but also students, played in our midst. It
was great fun. However, the dancing is one of the informal relaxation
activities, if I may call it thus, free for all. I wouldn't really call it a
workshop like the instrumental workshops, more like the musicsessions you'll
find here and there and everywhere. I had a delightful time in KlezKanada,
it's worth going to, even if you're not an instrumentalist. There's singing,
lost of great concerts, interesting lectures and magnificent surroundings on
top of it all.
