new Budowitz album, Wedding without a Bride, now out

I wanted to announce to the list that a wonderful new Budowitz album
is just out. The album is so new that it is available in the US only
via mailorder from either Hatikva Music or a bisl yiddishkeit (contact
them directly, or via the klezmershack listing).

I've written a bit about it on the klezmershack,

on the main page. The album attempts to present, on a single album,
a traditional eight-day Jewish wedding music repertoire. The liner 
notes, by Josh Horowitz, are, of course, spectacular. The music is
great, as is the voice of octagenarian Majer Bogdanski. It goes 
well with the recent Khevrisa album, or even by itself!
