Dear Jerzy:
I regret that my response was such a "shock".
I don't think it is fair to the artist
(and to the reader) for you not to have
backed up your words. (After your response,
I can better understand that you may not have
felt comfortable elaborating since you feel your
command of English may be wanting).
However, I appreciate a little =pozhondek=
in the organization of a person's thoughts
and feelings when he/she passes judgement.
As someone who's had to fight to correct
misrepresentations and outright falsehoods
(not opinions, mind you) about his own work
posted on this global forum, I feel a solidarity
with others who may be similarly, casually
maligned without expressed good reason.
As my friend (and your compatriot),
Sarah Nomberg-Przytyk, Of Blessed Memory,
used to say: "Always stick up for the underdog".
With best wishes,
Wolf Krakowski
