Dear Joel,

"Addio, dolce amico mio" which, I assume without having heard it, has the
same tune as the well-known Sephardic song "Adio, querida" began life,
indeed, as a Verdi aria - but not one from "Aida".  It is the same tune as
"Addio del passato" from "La Traviata".
