A little further info on Achron...
On instinct I flicked through the Jascha Heifetz violin encore folio
(published by Carl Fischer) and rediscovered Joseph Achron's Hebrew Melody
(opus 33) transcribed for violin by Heifetz...a piece I performed when still
at school! I can send you a copy of the sheet music if you'd like...
