Itsik, thanks for the reference.  As for Suvalk, I wouldn't assume that 
dances anywhere in the pale of settlement are necessarily regional.  Ben 
Gailing, whom I worked with for many years was from Suvalk, and his father 
was a klezmer, and the dances his father's band played were heavily Ukrainian 
and Bessarabian. --Hankus
