Hi gang,
I apologize for the commercial plug, but a few people responded to an earlier
posting asking that I let the list know when these were available, so here's
the scoop:
The Klezmershack T-Shirt is now available. It costs $18, which includes
shipping in the US and Canada. Add $3/US for Europe or South America; $5/US for
Israel. There is only one size: XL
The shirts consist of the KlezmerShack logo (4-color) on a white t-shirt, with
the URL printed out on the back.
FREE T-SHIRT OFFER:
The current T-shirt and logo spell out "klezmershack" in Hebrew, English, and
Yiddish. Obviously, there are many languages in which this would be
appropriate. If you are the first to suggest a variation in a language
conceivably relevant, that I can typeset (uses Latin 1 or 2, Cyrillic, or
Hebrew alphabets), that I can vet, and which becomes the translation paired
with that language, you get a free t-shirt sporting that language, paired with
the standard English and Yiddish. In addition, another logo will go into
rotation on the klezmershack, which will make things more fun for all of us.
Romanian? Russian? Polish? Spanish? a Sephardic language? Whatever you speak
fluently, and whatever translation you think might be appropriate for "Klezmer
Shack." (dom klezmer?)
TO ORDER, or to PROPOSE NEW TRANSLATIONS:
e-mail me for an address, or for a fax number (for sending translations). I do
not wish to post my address to any public forum. Online ordering from the
klezmershack, via credit card, will be available in the next week or so, as
soon as I have time to do the coding.
