John Zorn has an album called "Kristallnacht," I believe on his own label
Tzadik (www.tzadik.com). Some of it consists of Eastern European Jewish
melodies, depicting life before Holocaust, but then there is a 10-minute
section that is a collage with countless samples of breaking glass layered on
top of each other. As you might expect, it's unlistenable (the CD even warns
that prolonged listening can cause hearing damage), but it's also about the
best aural representations of the Holocaust you could imagine.
Also, Steve Reich has a work called "Different Trains," concerning the
Holocaust.
And there are numerous popular songs if you're interested.
