It might interest readers of this list to know that Murray Lehrer, the
keyboard player and leader of the band which recorded the Dave Tarras
"Freilach in Hi-Fi" LPs back in the late 1950s died recently in New York. This
record shows clarinetist Dave Tarras at the height of his powers, although the
Lehrer band leaves something to be desired.
