Leslie,
I'm not a pianist and I don't even know if the sheet music is
available, but the only CD anthology of "Jewish" music that I know of
that is reasonably available in the U.S. is David Holzman's "Visions"
on Albany TROY 283 (1998) (distributed by Albany). It includes pieces
by Ernest Bloch (Visions and Prophecies), Paul Ben-Haim (Five Pieces
for Piano), and Stefan Wolpe (from the Palestininan Notebook) as well
as longer works by Tzvi Avni and Arnold Schoenberg. There are 15
works by the first three composers of
3 minutes 6 seconds in duration or less. I regret that I haven't yet
gotten to hear the CD so I can't comment even on the perceived
difficulty.
