There's also an interesting version of _Di Nacht_ on June Tabor's most recent
album, which is in fact called _Aleyn_.  While June is at first sight a most
unlikely singer of yiddish songs, she did _Bei mir bist du schon_ a few years
ago, and has a wonderful dark alto that makes anything she sings memorable.

The CD is at home, I'm at work, but I think it's on Green Linnet.

This is the *only* yiddish song on this CD, so don't buy it unless you're
interested in the rest of its contents, most of which is uniformly
wonderful.  At least, IMHO.  But then I'm a major fan, so my views are
biased.
