Re: Lewandowski - High Holy Day Selections

     Dear Chaverim,
       Thank you all for your replies.  it is interesting to know that 
     Lewandowski and other Western European composers, (e.g. Sulzer) still 
     play a significant role in synagogue services particularly at the High 
     Holiday Season.  I think that many other pieces of that genre add a 
     bit of dignity, solemnity, and "class" particularly for the Yomim 
     Noraim. (Please, this is not meant to demean or to denigrate other 
     Nuschaot.  My only concern is that this "niche" be preserved.)
