Tara has three recordings of the Barry Sisters. You can reach them at
1-800-TARA-400 or http://www.jewishmusic.com
Mina died a number of years ago but I have played bass for Claire Barry a
few years ago, in the Catskills. She still sounds very good and her show
goes over great with people who remember the duo. An interesting sidelight
is that her conductors include Ian Finkel (mallet virtuoso) and his brother
(whose name escapes me at this moment), a fine pianist and arranger. They
are sons of Feyvush Finkel, the actor. Another conductor she uses is Jerry
Graff who actually did studio singing for people like LaVern Baker.
