[HANASHIR:2357] Re: A little musical treasure

I don't know your name....but I want to say that I am VERY grateful for your
clever way of emailing melody, chords, and rhythm for Eitz Chayim Hi.
Transmitting melody is a stumbling block without ledger lines and this method
makes it very easy for all of us online to quickly learn songs. I, for one,
learned your emailed arrangement several years ago and consider it one of my
most favorite settings for the words.I'd like to make one suggestion for chord
changes and a melody walk up in the third line from the end, third and fourth
measures. For example, here's what you've written:

Fm G C D Eb
F D C B B C D Eb F G
1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6

Perhaps, try this (En is E natural):

Fm G Cm Bb Eb C
F D C B B C D Eb F G En F G
1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6

Again, thanks so much for the innovative idea. If anybody feels so inclined to
use this method to send me the melody for The Tree Song talked about for Tu
B'Shevat, I'd be grateful.

All the best, Ellen Allard
