Thanks, Felicia, for the excellent idea for a quick and successful choral
arrangement of Bar'chu.  I have noticed that I have never heard it sung as
written.  For some reason, the melody of the  word " ham'vorach"  has always
been changed (simplified)  whenever I have heard it at religious school
services. I am debating whether to teach it the written way to to adult
choir.  Is this change common or unique to my synagogue, I wonder.
