Re: Re: Lots of us here-let's introduce ourselves yet again.

Shalom from Fargo North Dakota!
My daughter Carolyn and I were at Hava NaShira in June. Greetings to all.
Our walls are still rocking with the Reggesh version of Shalom Aleichem and
the new Psalm 150. Janeen Kobrinsky is Cantorial Soloist for the
congregation, Carolyn (age 15) is her understudy and I lead if neither of
THEM can be there.

We spent the summer leading very informal services which featured the "Texas
Two Step Shalom Aleichem"!

Janeen K is directing our newly formed choir (Temple Beth El hasn't had a
choir since 1977 or 78!) for the High Holidays. We have so many altos we've
had to bribe some to sing soprano.

We also have: two attorneys, a dental hygienist, a Mental Health worker, a
retired office manager, a painter, a Rebbetzin, four young women just post
Bat Mitzvah, a paralegal, a teacher, two computer operators and a
cardiovascular surgeon who keeps having to leave rehearsals to cut people's
chests open. Some of these people actually read music.

Adrian Durlester is our keyboardist and our new rabbi, Gershon Blackmore,
just keeps saying "faster, faster" it's still too slow."

Will let you all know how it goes!
Lynn
