Ok don't kill me guys, but I've been swamped, been out of town and have
no time to read all the emails about the dinosaur thing. But one thing
I know -- I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS DINOSAUR SONG! So where can I find a
copy? Haha! I'd like to at least know what everyone's talking about
(besides just understanding the concept). Thanks!
Shana tovah to all!

Agreed. But why have we lost our trust and faith in amcha to decide who
should and shouldn't be doing what? Quality, whatever that is, will out.
And
we must accept that our individual and professional definitions of what
quality is, and what is best for amcha, may not be the same definitions
that
amcha finally decides upon. That's the risk we take when we enter of
life of
service to Judaism. Why do we need a cabal of professionals deciding
for
amcha what's best?
Do I, personally, think there's a lot of crap out there? Yes. Do I think
there are people writing songs and making recordings who probably
shouldn't
be? Yes. I just don't think the solution is anything that has yet been
proposed here, with the possible exception of Beth's that we seek to
train
as many as we can and raise the bar that way.
Still gadflying away,
-Adrian
