[HANASHIR:16455] Re: Ah... the double-edged sword

There is a shabbas version of Linda Arnold's "There's a Dinosaur Knocking" from
her Happiness Cake cd. A few of us had metioned "how cute" and wanted the
guitar chords (which I have and sent to your daughter) and lyrics (which I have
some but would like more versions of!)

I did finally buy the cd to hear the tune...it si a darling song!

If anyone has more words that might fit a bit better, I would appreciate it!

These are the words I have that Sheri sent to me:

I think the shabbat words go like this.... Our youth leader does it something
like this.

xoSheri

There's a dinosaur knocking at my door

Knockin' one two three

There's a dinosaur knocking at my door

And he wants to have Shabbat

He wants to have Shabbat

He wants to have Shabbat with me.

Oh he wants to light the candles and

He wants to drink the wine.

He wants to eat the challah and

He wants to dine with us.

There's a dinosaur knocking at my door

Knockin' one two three

There's a dinosaur knocking at my door

He wants to have Shabbat

He wants to have Shabbat

He wants to have Shabbat with me.

I have found that you can get the words:

L?cha do-di

lik-rat ka-la

p?nei Shabbat

n?ka-b?la

to fit into the verse of the song as well.

What does this have to do with Shabbat- I finally read the words and don't
understand the discussion. Shabbat is not mentioned at all.

Ok don't kill me guys, but I've been swamped, been out of town and have
no time to read all the emails about the dinosaur thing. But one thing
I know -- I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS DINOSAUR SONG! So where can I find a
copy? Haha! I'd like to at least know what everyone's talking about
(besides just understanding the concept). Thanks!
Shana tovah to all!
