[HANASHIR:16167] Re: Songsheets

I havent written in a while, so here it goes.

When it comes to songsheets, I am the Queen of them and adore them totally for
Sunday/Religios School.

I tried putting on the Hebrew text with the trnsliteration and it only confused
the children. But I do leave it as an option to the Hebrew teachers.

I think the idea of putting the songsheets on posterboard is great if you have
the time.

I use the sheets for them to get the words in their head (and for shabbat song
sessions of course), and then I take them away. Kids are normally pretty good
at learning tunes and words easily and fast, I have found in my music teaching
of 20 years. (oy! 20 years!!)
I also have found that the less sheets they are holding the better. I ahve a
habit now of making the sheet with three colomns (small print) and putting
everything on one side or double sided....

anyhoo...hope this helps...email me private if you need anymore ideas.
