[HANASHIR:14678] Work questions, need general info

Hi all -- I have some questions regarding teaching/musical tasks and related 
pay and would appreciate individual answers OFF-LIST. Thanks in advance for 
your help.

I would like to know what the average situation pays (NO CITY is necessary, 
though general region would be helpful) per service/task for the following [it 
is understood that prep time is not covered for any of these]:

1. Teaching one night a week of religious school for teens, two hours
2. Leading music for weekly youth worship for teens, 30 minutes
3. Leading music for weekly family service (grade school age), 45 minutes
4. Leading music for family Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur morning services, 
about 90 minutes per service
5. Teaching music to grades K-5 in weekly religious school setting, two and a 
half hours total time per week (about 20 minutes per class, pull-out)
6. Monthly Tot Shabbat service, about 30 minutes plus 20 minutes playing random 
Jewish music at Tot Oneg afterwards
7. Twice-monthly music time in Jewish preschool, about 45 minutes total with 
music and movement (4 and 5 year olds)
8. Music leading for monthly Youth Shabbat morning service (grades 3 to 6) 
9. Weekly mini-service for evening Hebrew class (grades 3 to 5), about 20 to 25 
minutes with heavy emphasis on reinforcing tefillot lessons

10. Bonus Question: if one person is doing all of the above, does this 
piecemeal work become an actual employment package and are health benefits 
involved? Should they be? Does this person have an actual position on the staff 
of a synagogue, or are they simply considered freelance, private contractors 
hired by the job? 

If your average situation varies in tasks and you have time to answer, you can 
indicate what is or isn't a part of this list and if it changes the job 
description significantly.

I am trying to get a sense of how it all works and your answers will help.
