[HANASHIR:14464] Re: national anthems

Hi All,
    I have been out of town for a week or so, so I am a bit behind in 
Hanashir thread... but...I lived in Canada in the late 50's ( Boy am I 
aging myself)  The words then were, and I don't remember the exact spot 
in the lyrics.." Our Lord's Son's command.."  I remember how awkward it 
was for me as a Jew to sing those words.  Even National Anthems can 
sometimes change for the better as O Canada evidently did.
