Rahel How about giving us a top 5 of songs that ARE SUNG IN ISRAEL for: Yom
HaAtzmaut, Yom Yerushalayim, Shavuot. Most of us know the tried and true,
but what do they sing THERE? Thanks! Meris Ruzow meris (at)

Shalom All,

I will try now to respond to Meris's request. These are the titles. I'm not
sure where you can find the music on the web. No doubt Tara Productions
(Velvel Pasternak) carries most of these songs in songbooks such as: Israel
Sings, Chassidic Favorites and such....

This list is from the so-called "secular" songs. There a a million more
songs from the religious/hassidic selections!
