    The tonic or the 9th?  In the version of "Yakhne-dvoshe" that I know 
the last note of "pakn" is the 6th, although both Ruth Rubin and Shmuel 
Bugatch have it on the 5th.  "Pishla" also has the corresponding note on 
the 6th.
