Westminster West:
A community celebration of the Jewish festival of lights will be held 
on Friday, December 19, and will feature a live performance of the 
The Wholesale Klezmer Band.  This is the second time Westminster West 
has hosted this Channakah celebration.  The first was a wonderful 
success with hot latkes, joyous dancing, stories shared and the 
lights of many menorahs filling the windows and brightening hearts.

The celebration will once again include a pot luck dinner, dreidle 
playing, storytelling, and candle lighting. Latkes - a traditional 
Channakah potato pancake- will be provided.  The event, which is free 
of charge, will be held at the Westminster West Congregational Church 
at 5:30 p.m. on December 19.  For more information call 387-5788.

Caffé Lena

Once again, we return to Caffé Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY for the 
second night of Chanukah. As usual, our concert will be a mix of the 
familiar and the never heard before in Saratoga-- songs and 
instrumental music,-- including an updated Yiddish vaudeville song 
about the corrupting effects of money, and its antidote--a 
traditional Yiddish song about the values without which money is 
useless.  Subtitles will be provided for audience members not fluent 
in Yiddish.
