Wasn't there a Molly Picon - Second Avenue on Broadway or some such?
Also Pins and Needles - based on the life of Jewish garment workers?
And a whole world of Yiddish musicals from Second Avenue - that's off
Broadway.

I mistakenly wrote Ragtime in place of Rags- thanks to Elliot for the

I've wondered why a true Story of Esther musical hasn't been mounted on or
off Broadway. The story and charachters lends themselves well enough.
Conversely, has anyone attempted to compile or do a "best of" from the
wealth of Purim material acros the wrorld, eityher spiel or music related?
Thoughts?
