klez films

Dear khaverim

I am working on a large festival of music from Central and Eastern Europe 
and the former Soviet Union to take place from May 23rd to 31st at the 
Barbican Centre featuring forty bands from the region. Jewish music will be 
featured in the shape of teh Kharkov Klezmer Band from Ukraine, Frank London 
(appearing alongside Boban markovic's band) and hopefully the film La Yave 
De Espanya featuring Flory Yagoda (and possibly perhaps Kroke or Krakow 
Klezmer Band if a lsat minute vacancy becomes available).

We are planning a film season alongside the music. I wanted to ask you for a 
recommendation about films on klezmer, either on the whole scene or the CEEu 
revival, or perhaps classic films with great soundtracks.

If anyone could help with ideas I'd be very grateful.
