I would second Ari's recommendation enthusiastically. I have been
listening to Gedanken for a 2 months or so and never get tired of it. When
I first put on the album, my husband, very critical musically, heard it
from the kitchen, stopped what he was doing and came into the living room,
asking, "What is this? It's really good." And it is really
good. Intriguing arrangements of exquisite melodies. Textured
interweaving of clarinet and harp, faithful to the qualities of each and to
the integrity of the East European Jewish melodies. I discover new
delights and musically interesting elements and turns on each repeated
listening.
