HAPPY CHANUKAH, i've been offline for a year cause i live a few blocks from WTC, and had my phone service off for two months and had to go off lists.. anyway, i'm happy to be back and rejoin; i've finished a pop/middleastern/jewish themed record called "exile" rereleasing in spring, but out now too..

DECEMBER 8th - 8p.m. KNITTING FACTORY with Hasidic New Wave w/senegalese drummers 10p.m. - YAKAR RHYTHMS. The event is called ZACHOR - a Commemoration to celebrate the beautiful creative lives of Marla Bennett and Ben Blustain, two Pardes students killed in Israel at the Hebrew University bombing on July 31, 2002- $20 (kemal, noah, meg, basya, ben, benoir, daphna - special guests jason lindner piano, jeff ballard-drums)
DECEMBER 21st 8p.m. - KNITTING FACTORY main space/Jewsapalooza THE EXILE PROJECT produced by Frederik Rubens..
