Thanks to Faith Jones and her coworkers at the New York Public
Library, there is now an index to the Yiddish theater lexikon by
Zilbercweig (and Mestel) on the NYPL website. You download the letter
you want and it will tell you in what volume or volumes the name is
found.This index is more complete than just looking thru each volume
for a reference. They cross-referenced throughout the 6 volumes. Go
to site below and hit on "Index to ....." - itzik gottesman
