I've heard this CD (as well a a live performance at Klez Kanada).  My
reaction to the idea is a negative one - but having heard the result
I can say - IT'S GEVALDIG!  We were playing it in the sukkah tonight
and my guests agreed.  It's an interesting fun, and moving work!
