(Please cc any replies to Mr Uhr at imninalu50 (at) yahoo(dot)com(dot)) Thanks,

Shalom!
I'm a member of a discussion group about Israeli folk music, and have a
question that maybe you can answer:
We 've found among "folk" Israeli songs two tangos : "Al Na Tomar Li
Shalom" (author: T. Raviv, album "Shirey Moladet 2", Ofra Haza) and "Hayta
Achat Ve'he Enena" (album "Atik Noshan", Sadnat Teatron Shechunat
Hatikvah). Can you tell us how did these two tangos come to be Israeli folk
music?
Best regards,
Avraham Uhr
