Hi. We received the sad news at our newspaper, the Yiddish Forward ,
that the great singer and cantor Misha Alexandrovitch has died in
Munich at age 88. Can anyone in Germany confirm this? I don't want to
appear too cynical but there was a rumor that he died a number of
years ago that turned out not to be true and before we publish this
