Lyrics for "Du Du"

Hi folks,

With only days to go, I have been asked to prepare the yiddish
song "Du, Du" (first line; "Gey ikh mir baym breg fun yam,")

The lyrics I have from two (non-published) sources vary and I
request an authourative source.  Zemerl hasn't got it.

The chosen who has requested the song is an extremely proficient
Yiddish speaker and ardent yiddishist.  I don't want to embarrass
myself here.
